Pony Mustang 10U National Championships

Round Rock, TX
July 27th - Aug. 1st, 2010

Story of the Wild & Untamed Softball Team

This summer two separate groups of very dedicated girls and their families from the University and Westside Little League Organizations where chosen to represent their perspective leagues as All-Stars. Unfortunately, there were not enough players to compete individually as two teams. Rather than walking away for the summer, the two coaches pooled their players to create one team to compete in the Mustang Division of Pony Baseball and Softball’s All-star Tournaments.

The growth of these players as a team has been nothing short of amazing. As Coaches, we have been blessed with a wonderful combination of great Young Ladies who love Softball and being members of a Team. Additionally, their Families are absolutely terrific. The whole group has garnered praise for its Great Sportsmanship and Attitudes. It is truly refreshing!

Some highlights so far have been a Third Place Finish in the Regional Tournament July 9th - 13th and a Second Place finish in the Sectional Tournament June 25th – 27th. But even better, we have qualified to participate in the Pony National Championship Tournament in Round Rock, Texas July 27th – August 1st.
